2008 Circle K International Convention
Call for Workshop Proposals |
Convention Overview
Circle K (CKI) is a coeducational service organization for college students, organized and sponsored by Kiwanis International. Currently in CKI there are over 13,200 members in 500 clubs in 17 nations.
The International Convention is an annual event held in different locations each year. Five hundred and fifty CKI members and guests attend the convention as an opportunity to learn new information through a variety of educational workshops, elect leaders to serve on the International board of representatives, attend award and recognition sessions, and network with other CKI members from around the globe. This is your opportunity to provide expertise on a specific topic to these youth leaders. CKI presents this call for workshop proposals for all interested parties.
Location and Costs
The 2008 convention is scheduled August 6-10, 2008 in Denver, Colorado. Educational workshops will be held on Thursday, August 7; Friday August 8 and Saturday, August 9. Guests will stay at the Adams Mark Hotel. Workshop facilitators are responsible for their own registration and housing costs for the convention. Registration costs are US$160.00 per person and the hotel costs are US$165.00 (includes tax) per night. Convention registration forms are available on online.
