Watch for changes in magazine, Web site
You might be surprised when you pick up the magazine formerly known as Circle K this coming September.
Yes, you read that right. Plans are in the works to change the magazine’s name to “CKI magazine” starting in September 2007. In addition to a new name that strengthens the “CKI” moniker, the magazine will take on a brand new look and feel to bring content up-to-date and to align with CKI’s graphic standards.
To do that, early plans include the use of more action photos, more Spotlight and In Action stories, and fewer Newsroom items. In fact, most of the news currently found in the magazine will move to the magazine’s Web site, which also could see big changes ahead.
Some tentative plans include eliminating the e-zine format used now in favor of an updated CKI magazine Web site that will include ever-changing content, photos, video, and more. The magazine site will have a unique URL, completely separate from the Circle K home page.
