Conference Overview
During the 2008 Governor and Administrator Training Conference, Governors and Administrators will explore the One Degree of Difference. The thermometer represents commitment, service, attitude, leadership, kindness, belief, focus, and perseverance. With each of these, Governors and Administrator can reach One Degree of Difference.
The conference format is interactive and “hands-on”, following the belief that the attendees bring tremendous knowledge with them and that, as a group, powerful thinking will happen benefiting all those in attendance.
The main focus of the Governor and Administrator Training Conference is defining the position of Governor as an officer of CKI. An overview of the various roles that Governors and Administrators serve within their districts will also be an important part of the conference. How each leader applies these concepts in practice will vary according to leadership style, district demographics, Kiwanis involvement, and the leadership with whom you work.
Learning Objectives

- Share and hear ideas about proven operational methods that have worked within other districts.
