With the 2025 Circle K International Convention in the books, we can look back at all of our accomplishments from 2024-25. Here are the top five highlights:

  • Provisional status implementation and support. Although provisional district status had been in the CKI Bylaws since 2022, it wasn’t implemented until 2024. During the past year, CKI built a support structure for struggling districts, including monthly provisional cohort calls, a formal goal review in December and a provisional support packet. Since this past June alone, three districts have met the criteria to move from provisional to district status: Montana, Indiana and Western Canada. To learn more about Montana’s journey from provisional to district status, check out this blog post by Past Governor Kendall Stokes.
  • Partnerships and member opportunities. CKI has strengthened bonds with existing partners and introduced new ones. CKI members have raised over US$43,800 for our three-year-old Brick x Brick initiative with UNICEF USA. For the first time, our mental health partner, Active Minds, attended the CKI convention, and we’re collaborating to create a CKI leadership position that will strengthen our connection with that organization. In addition, our partnership with PerkSpot has been reinforced, giving discounts to all members through the PerkSpot site. We have also rolled out two new partnerships: With Givergy, CKI members have a fundraising platform to create events and campaigns for the causes we’re passionate about. And through The Nature Conservancy, CKI members will have additional opportunities for service and leadership when the new semester begins.
  • Membership incentives, scholarships and swag. With the introduction of CKI convention scholarships, we awarded free registration for the 2025 Circle K International Convention to five members. And the Kiwanis Children’s Fund bestowed over US$7,000 in academic scholarships to members this year. CKI also provided numerous club and district incentives throughout the year, including the early dues incentive, ability to win free breakfast at convention and countless CKI merchandise giveaways. Coming in August: All new CKI members will receive an official welcome message from CKI leadership, with an explanation of CKI benefits and opportunities.
  • Brick x Brick Update. CKI’s initiative in partnership with UNICEF USA has reached an exciting milestone. Over the past three years, High Point University in North Carolina, U.S., donated a total of US$70,978 — enough for UNICEF to build an entire new school and more! The funding covers the plastic building bricks, textbooks, latrines, teacher training and more. Overall, our Brick x Brick project has helped build three new schools for children in the African nation of Côte d’Ivoire. And in May, we hit our fundraising goal! We’ve now raised US$144,000 since June 2022.
  • International events and service. CKI clubs and districts throughout the world have created positive change through meaningful service events at fall gatherings, during CKI Week, at district conventions and more. During the Circle K International convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S., we partnered with Caitlin’s Smiles to create fun kits for children who have severe medical conditions. Check out CKI’s Instagram for stories on individual service projects — and make sure your club tags CKI whenever you post your good news!

Service is at the heart of CKI, and working alongside one another, CKI members like you are making the world a better place.
