CKI Week Guidelines
During CKI Week each club will focus on our three tenets: service, leadership, and fellowship. Here are some guidelines:
- Fellowship: October 12 & 13. Put an emphasis on building meaningful and lasting relationships through fun activities. Whether it’s with other members of your club, local Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs or friends in your district, make a genuine connection with someone in the Kiwanis family! Team up for a service project, organize an interclub social or just spend time with friends to celebrate fellowship through CKI.
- Leadership: October 14 & 17. People always talk about the value of a servant leader. Well, these days are designed for you to show off how you lead! Collaborate with others, reach out to local Kiwanians and focus on your personal leadership journey through CKI. No two members will have the same leadership experiences — so accept and embrace those differences to grow and lead together.
- Service: October 16 & 17. Whether we’re packaging food, building playgrounds or working with animals, each of us has a service project we love. CKI has a diverse group of partnerships that address a variety of issues. We challenge you to collaborate with our partners so we can continue to be catalysts within our communities. Project ideas are divided up by partnerships — so start planning now. And take lots of pictures!
