In 3-5 sentences, tell us about yourself.

Hello! My name is Bobby, and I am currently a student at The University of Texas at Austin. I was born in a small town called Texas City, Texas, which is right outside of Galveston on the Gulf Coast! Fostering a passion for community service has always been something that has meant a lot to me. When I am not doing CKI related things, I am probably either studying, driving downtown with friends, trying new places to eat, or playing with my dog. Not extremely interesting, but my favorite color is sky blue, and I feel like that says a lot about my personality.

What are you most looking forward to about your year as governor?

This upcoming year, I am most looking forward to implementing all of the ideas that I have on how to improve our district. As I work through these, I am also looking forward to seeing how much progress we can make in rebuilding the district in a post-COVID environment. All in all, I cannot wait to get a chance to reunite with all of my peers on the district board and work together to make Texas-Oklahoma as great as it once was, and even better.

Favorite CKI Memory

My favorite CKI memory is definitely District Convention 2020. This event really solidified how important CKI was to me, and it truly showed me that I had found a home with all of my peers.

Favorite Service Project

So far, my favorite service project was when I had the opportunity to help out with Meals on Wheels in the Greater Houston Area a few years back. The project itself was very hands-on, educating, and made a huge impact on the community. I would absolutely love to get a chance to go back there and help out again sometime!
