In 3-5 sentences, tell us about yourself
Hello! My name is Kat, but you can call me anytime (for unconditional love and moral support.) I’m a big consumer of news, social media and boba milk tea. I LOVE PUPPIES. The easiest way to make my day is to send me pics and videos of your dogs.
What are you most looking forward to about your year as governor?
Since the beginning of my CKI experience, I always had an insatiable hunger to want our members to aim higher, learn more and do more. So, seeing how my members will grow throughout the term is something I am really excited to see.
Favorite CKI memory
Fall Training Conference’s Membership Induction was one of my favorite moments because I was able to induct all our members into our organization. Thinking about it makes my heart flutter!
Favorite Service project
Orange Coast College — Kelly’s Closet!! Aside from hanging out with adorable little children, this service event reminded me how much I love service and how often I take my education for granted. There are many times we just sign up for events unaware of how much of an impact we make, but the biggest thing I’ve learned from this event is how much more I received from giving than I could have imagined. I’ve also learned how needed CKI is in our community. You may not see it now, but you’ll look back and realize how much power you have to make a difference in lives! So, do what you can with what you have, and do it often.
