Hi! My name is Madison Liner, and I am the 2020-2021 governor for the Louisiana-Mississippi-Western Tennessee District. I am a math major at Nicholls State University, and my dream career would be to be a college professor. Along with doing service, some of my favorite pastimes include running, reading, playing board games and spending time with family. I am super thankful to have the opportunity to serve in this position and to be part of the best organization in the world!
What are you most looking forward to about your year as governor?
I am most looking forward to travelling around my district and meeting members who have a passion for service beyond measure!
Favorite CKI memory
My favorite CKI memory is the Day of Service at CKIx19. I was still fairly new to CKI as I had just finished my first year in the organization. I was super nervous because I didn’t know anyone in my group. However, within just a short time on the bus, I had made so many new friends, learned about other Circle K clubs around the world and became comfortable and ready to serve! Participating in the Day of Service was such an amazing experience and helped me to realize that CKI is something I wanted to be deeply involved in.
Favorite service project
My favorite service project would have to be our sponsoring Kiwanis club’s Trivia Night. I love it because there are multiple branches of the Kiwanis family who volunteer, including Circle K, Key Club and Atkion club. It’s always great to see such a diverse group of people come together to serve the community. It was also really fun because in between categories, all the volunteers got together in the back and tried to answer the questions ourselves!
