In three to five sentences, tell us about yourself.

I will be a full-time graduate student at IUPUI in the fall of 2020 to earn my MS in biomedical engineering. I graduated from IUPUI with my Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering and minors in dance and mathematics in May 2020. This will be my fifth year in CKI and seventh year in the Kiwanis family. Outside of CKI, I am involved with our student modern dance company (The Moving Company at IUPUI), the science, technology, engineering and math housing community on campus, and Alpha Lambda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma national honor societies. In my free time, I am a visual technician for a high school marching band and a 2020 500 Festival Princess to spread the spirit and legacy of the Indianapolis 500 throughout the state. I also enjoy being outside and hanging out with my friends.

What are you most looking forward to about your year as governor?

I am most looking forward to getting closer to all of the Indiana clubs and other districts from around the world.

Favorite CKI memory

My favorite CKI memory is at the end of one of my home club’s semiannual 16 Hours of Service. We were all crammed into the living room of a small apartment, watching movies and doing in-house service. We were exhausted and laughing and serving and bonding, and even though this happened a few years ago, I still love that night.

Favorite service project

My favorite service project is not one specific project, but our 16 Hours of Service. Each semester, we take a day and go to different places around the Indianapolis area to serve and learn more about the needs within our community.
