Have A Heart…Donate Blood! |
This year the second annual Circle K International Blood Drive will be hosted on August 6th, 2008 In Denver, Colorado! We are all very excited to begin getting this blood drive under way but we are going to need your help. This year we are attempting to DOUBLE in size from last year to a total of 80 donor slots available.
Bonfils Blood Center, which is this year’s blood donation service, will be providing all of the staff and supplies needed to run this operation. They expect no problems and foresee this year’s blood drive to be a huge success. CKI will soon be posting an online registration for this blood drive so please keep a look out for more information about the blood drive if you're interested in donating.
A little bit of information about Bonfils Blood Center located in Denver, Colorado. This year, 2008, Bonfil’s is celebrating their 65th year of saving lives and currently. They currently have over 500 employees working for Bonfils who are making a difference in their community every day. Bonfils collects more than 200,000 units of blood annually and offers a variety of services to better meet the needs of the community.
A few of Bonfils slogans are “It takes more than just blood to save a life.” As well as “…maintaining a safe. adequate, and efficiently produced blood supply for the community.” Who better to trust for our CKI’s second annual convention than an organization that hold similar values to our own.
